Information System is an aggregation to achieve a certain goal by a series of elements which influence and connect with each other. A software product is the ultimate performance of Modern Information System, but it is different from the general utility software and software tools. What it's object-oriented is the organization structure, or unstructured business process. In order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the transaction, thereby to enhance competitiveness in a modern society, it needs to store and control the large amounts of data which is needed or formed in the process.The concept of Information System, the character of Information System and the sorts of Information System are introduced. Especially I do an in-depth research and study in the relevant theories and methods in how to analyze and design Information System, such as the concept of requirement model, the method of observation-simulation, goals analysis and functions analysis. The methods of Information System analysis to obtain requirement, the methods and the related theory of Information System design are applied to complete the collection of requirement and the design of Information System. In this paper, I verified the methods and theories of Information System analysis and design step by step through the Lenovo ECC information system building. At present, the system has been completed; the system has achieved goals and operated successfully. The ECC information system has promoted the development of Lenovo. And it will become the most basic and core support system to achieve the e-commerce in the new economic century.
