| In this article, based on cross-organizational workflow theory, a process-view model based-on structured-roles in cross-organizational workflows is proposed, which can have a choice of private enterprises hiding the details of the workflow, and offer process-oriented interface, according to the needing of different roles. Each participating enterprise can monitor and control the progress of partners through the virtual states of the process-views and can generate different process-views for different partners based on different commercial relations. Process view in the article is an effective realization of cross-organizational work flow monitoring methods, which participating enterprises can gain useful process information so that the cross-organizational cooperation more efficient. Cross-organizational workflows are coordinated through virtual states of process-views, which present progress status of the entire process. In addition, the thesis introduces the concept of activity based on the process view, which reflects the characteristics of active monitoring. When the process information or the related data information changes, it could timely inform the related role of the related cooperation to handle in time. |
