The rapid development of network technology has basically changed people's lifestyleand working, which has a great effect in every aspect of our society. At the same time, thenetwork's potential dangers are increasing. For example, there are more and more newnetwork attack methods with an increase in complexity, which renders a huge challenge forour country's information safetyconstruction. Bythe firewall as represented of the single andextensive passive defense system has already become incapable and gradually unable toadjustthedevelopmenttendencyofinformationsafety.Theactivedefensesystemcenteredonintrusion detection technology has been paid much attention by people because of itsparticular features of dynamic and initiatively. Recently, the research with intelligenttechnology'sfusionhasbecomethefocusofresearchandstudy.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of intelligent technologyrepresented by intrusion detection and immune system. In regard to the fact of inefficiency,low detection rate and high false detection rate of the current intrusion detection system, thispaper propose a new intrusion detector generating model which can raise the detectionefficiency and reduce the false detection rate. This model based on a study of combinatorialpattern discovery algorithm -Teiresias to make an analysis of the common characteristic of"non-self"sample, so as to get a variable-length pattern which can explain the non-self. Thenby learning from the gene library mechanism of immune system and combining with themethod of fixed-length pattern initializing gene library, the paper design a new method ofusingvariable-lengthpatterntoinitializegenelibrary.Thismethodmakesthegenelibraryhasmany kinds of gene segments before intrusion detection system run and these gene segmentscan better demonstrate the non-self characteristics. Thus the uncertainty and aimlessnessbrought by generation randomly can be avoided when generating the intrusion detectors.Using gene library method to generating detectors can decrease the time-expense of the system, increase the covering accuracy of the intrusion detectors and enhance the detectionrate of intrusion detectors and reduce the false detection rate. On this basis, the paper alsoproposes an intrusion detection system model based on intelligent technology fusion, whichcombines the merits of Misuse detection and Anomaly detection. Finally, this paper makes asimulation experiment on the model which proves the efficient improvement of detection rateandthefalsedetectionrateonintrusiondetection.In conclusion, this paper design an intrusion detection generating model based onimmune system through the research on intrusion detection system and artificial immunesystem.Andonthis basis, it also analyses and constructs theintrusiondetectionsystem basedonintelligenttechnologyfusionwhichcanbetter solvethe issueofdetectionabilityandstudyefficiency.
