In SOA, the service registry takes an important role which complies with UDDI specification. As the basis of maintaining normal operation of SOA computing pattern, service registry is responsible for service publishing, discovery and management. The traditional service registry is centralized and faces lots of management and maintenance work for a large number of web services. The centralized structure has bottleneck of system performance and lacks scalability. The computing environment based SOA will be down if the service registry is failed. Furthermore, present UDDI registry is a passive directory and the service information is updated by service provider. So the service information which can't be updated by service provider will be invalid once the service is failed.Based on the above shortcomings, the mechanism of service registry in SOA and how to support the computing environment based SOA effectively in large scale network are comprehensively studied. Its aim is to solve the problems about the reliability, scalability of service registry and actively updating registered information. The thesis gets the following achievement:①The decentralized structure is studied and a hierarchical distributed UDDI registry structure is proposed. A service region partition method is discussed that can adapt dynamically to the changing of service nodes, loading and network bandwidth. By the operations including node adding-in, region partition and joint, the organizing of service regions could be kept reasonably.②Aimed at the service region divided above, the mechanism of generating Super-node in every region is studied. The Resource Consumption Factor, the credit and the intention of a node, and RTT are used to represent the dynamic estimate parameter of Super-node service capacity. The service capacity of different Super-nodes is estimated by using Set Pair and the node with proper service capacity is chosen dynamically as Super-node in a region so as to adapte the dynamic changes.③The CMP interaction protocol is proposed. In order to monitor service and improve its validity, the CMP message is carried to Super-nodes to compare the service's version when the service capacity of a node is estimated. Service information is updated through the interface provided by Super-nodes.At last, By means of comprehensive simulations based on studied work above, the thesis simulates the process of region division and Super-node generation, compares the system performance between HDUR and the traditional service registry.
