The Research Of Embedded Motion Controller Based On The DSP

Following the development of modern micro-electronics technology and automation technology, the motion control technology becomes a new subject, the intelligential control system composed by modern method such as micro-processor and embedded DSP controller leads the developing direction. Based on the situation above, the embedded motion controller based on DSP is studied in this paper.This paper chooses the excellent chip TMS320F2812 which product by American TI company as core, and develops embedded motion controller which can be extended easily. Some general plans are designed for embedded controller based on DSP, and the optimal plan is put forward based on the comparative study. The overall function and lower-level function interfaces of controller software are planed. The parameter setting functions and motion control functions are designed for motion control. The interpolation-movement function is elaborated and the essential functions are also designed.The thought and principle of IDE are introduced and the graphic interface which can guide the users to input the commands easily is also designed. The compiling function and simulation debugging function of IDE are designed and achieved which is the main task of this paper. For the characteristics of main control chip TMS320F2812, the assembler and disassembler are written. Based on the characteristics of IDE, the method which can deal with floating point operation using fixed point DSP and the hybrid programming between C and assembler are studied and designed.The design of motion controller refers much knowledge. This paper makes lots of early-stage preparations for wholly building of controller, hardware development, software planning and design of IDE. It is valuable for perfecting the platform and expanding the functions. This paper has certain reference value and utility value.
