This topic is to meet the needs of the debugging in hardware and software during the multi-model airborne fire-control radars' researching and developing. A current airborne frequency-agile radar target and jamming simulate system is manufactured in the research. The target simulation and many kinds of jamming simulation are combined in this system to fit the kinds of signals' simulation demands of the different radar in X wave band. It can provide an advanced simulating instrumentality in design, produce, use and maintenance of radar.This paper gives a summary of radar, introduces the importance and development of target and jamming simulation research. The principle and realization of target and jamming signal simulation are described in details. And the research gives emphasis to digital radio frequency memory, suppressing jamming, instantaneous frequency measurement, frequency-agile produce and so on.While the system being used, Part of the debugging and verifying jobs, which are necessarily to be carried on in the outfield flight-test, can be progressed in the infield laboratory. It can reduce the manpower and the resource greatly in the outfield test, shorten the radar research period at the mean time and improve the product competition in the market.
