Experiment is the basis of the physics teaching,through direct-viewing and the image method,it can abstractly and specifcally demonstratedprocess of the people knew and discovered some knowledge,the principle,lets the student understand,know and grasp these knowl-edge,theprinciple in a shorter time,meantime,and develop students' operation and observation capacity.At the present,experiment is processed in lab,and eaching condition still has some flaws,eg.high input,costly loss,low efficiency,long period,difficult maintenance,danger,so on, morethan,the current teaching condition still exits certain flaws and the objective reason of its the variety,the complexity,the isolation and so on,it is impossible that each experiment is applied in the teaching and lets the students really complete each experiment.So,in order to overcome the above problems, we can adequately and reasonably and effectively use certain experimental teaching system to save teaching time,reduce the costs of experimental teaching,and improve the efficiency and quality of experimental teaching.In a variety of simulation experiment teaching system by using computer technology,experimenter can complete the scheduled experimental task like in the real environment,the effect of study or training achieved is equivalent to or better than in the real environment.The simulation mechanics experiment teaching system is a open platfoorm based on physics experiment simulation,it integrate teaching and coureware into a whole,provide a good tool for teaching and designing experiment coureware,and offer a free experiment exploration platform and free imagination space.Thesis introduct the virtual simulation technology in mechanics experiment teaching system from theory to application,from design and accomplishment,then design the overall structure of system in accordance to the development of simulation mechanical experiment teaching system,and and make some deep research to the running simulation,collision detection module. System uses open-source cross-platform graphics engine OpenSceneGraph (OSG) for development,graphics generated quickly;the design of system architecture is taken full account of the independence of modules,and leave extend interfaces,the whole system is practical and flexible.Morethan,system is introduced the physics engine OpenDynamic Engine (ODE) and combined with graphics engine(OSG),achieved a good effect.System provides these function of real-time,convenient interactive and immersive feeling,has the good practical value,lay good foundation for the further development and improvement.
