Application And Research Of University Student Party Member Management Information System Based On OLAP

With the popularization of computers and relational database systems tremendous success , various database system with unprecedented speed up development in all sectors and extensive application which makes business become more accurate,efficient and more accumulated data on the exponential rate of growth: faced with massive data management and analysis, data spread but information--poor troubling policy--makers. So we must find a new technology and methods to mini up the useful information from massive data for the people's decision to provide support. With Data Warehouse technology and on-line analytical processing(OLAP) tool for the continuous development and improvement, the data warehouse decision support system based on research and design entered a new direction of development.As university student party members are regarded as the reserve force enjoying a special status at the new historical stage of our Party, the education and management of university student party members have formed the main part of university party construction. With the increasingly deepening of reform and opening-up in our country, especially with the economic globalization, the politics multi-polarization, the diversification of value, the rapid spreading of Internet and constantly enlarging scale of the universities, the university party organizations are confronted with many challenges and problems on the education and management of undergraduate party members. At present, there are different university student party members' management information systems data which have problems such as incompatible,how to share resources and accumulated the large amount of historical data over the years but that can not be effectively learn, analysis and other issues. Therefore, it is high time that the establishment of the university student party members' management information systems based on data warehouse and OLAP technology provides a decisions support assistance for the administrator. On the basis of research and some reference documents, this paper will discuss and analyze the university student party members' management information systems based on OLAP from four aspects by putting them in the current situation. The first part mainly discusses the new challenges that education and management of university student party members are faced with. And the second part focuses on the analysis of the current status of development of the decision support system with data warehouse and OLAP. The third part designs the university student party members' management information systems and the fourth part analyzes the detail of the main business data and demand of decision support system, and the design and implementation process: through the data conversion services realize the various data sources' data extraction, purification, transformation and loading; through the OLAP services tool provided by Microsoft, and the fact tables and dimensional tables establish a part-analysis multidimensional cube analysis data model to meet the needs of multi-dimensional analysis: completed a data query, display a variety of mining methods and the production of statements. All in all, the above discussion and analysis aim at helping us deal with the new situation and practically strengthen the university student party construction, especially the education and management of university student party members, which can improve the quality and standard of education and management.
