Information hiding is a hotspot in the research of information security, as the main restraint cause of application, the exploration on the security is urgently needed. The security of information hiding is centered on the base of analyzing overall, making a deep study in the imperceptibility and anti-extraction. The main work is summarized as follows:1. A universal information hiding model is introduced with a formal description. The influence from imperceptibility, anti-extraction, secrecy and robustness on the security by the passive and active attack is analyzed on the base of security threats.2. A theory security of information hiding is analyzed based on the information theory description of universal model. The imperceptibility, anti-extraction, secrecy and robustness are described by entropy and conditional entropy. Then theory relations in some security factors and influences from the object and key are introduced.3. The research on the imperceptibility of information security is developed. With the analysis of theory security model by Cachin and on the base of reversible de-correlation transform, a statistical imperceptibility model is built. Then an imperceptibility evaluation is put forward on the base of this model. The validity and rationality are tested by experiment results.4. An anti-extracted random oracle model is built based on the research on the anti-extraction. A conclusion of anti-extracted system is gained without forecasting the output of pseudo-random number generation. A theory information hiding system is constructed and anti-extracted is proved in the paper. Finally, some new directions of information hiding that need to be further explored are pointed out.
