Research And Design For XML Query Platform Based On XQuery

Traditional HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) is only fit for scaning data,and is not fit for exchanging data.In the filed of Web, XML makes up the lack of HTML, is a new standard language designed for automatic describe data information by The World Wide Web Consortium(W3C). XQuery is a query language recommended by The World Wide Web Consortium(W3C), makes XML as abstract data model, is a universal query language for XML. Contraposing the data trait of XML,querying and optimization with XQuery is a Researching emphases now.This lecture study the studing actuality of XML query, XML query language, the influence of XML data model face query on query language, query process of XQuery language etc, and integrate characteristic of query process of XQuery and XML data model, designed a XML Query Platform based on XQuery , the Platform is consist of Constructor of Query Sentence, query parser, query evaluator , which query different XML data from abroad source.In Particular, we make three contributions, First we give Processing model of XML query based on XQuery , is consist of user layer,module layer, data layer.The core of Processing model are XQuery parser and query evaluator, and Constructor of Query Query Sentence help user make query condition ; second we give merging representation model ,which is used in Constructor of Query Sentence .The model denote single result element as atom query, and merge atom queries to denote XQuery query ; third we adopt query trees to represent the XQuery query sentences, deposit XML node information in materialized view, it will match its query tree with the MVs query tree to get the matched part to improve the efficiency of query XML.The significance of this artile is design a universal query Platform , which solve question of XML query and Optimization, have some actual value on study of XML data query.
