With the progress of the times and the rapid development of information technology, Chinese government increased input in the building of e-government, and the management-type function of the government is gradually changing to a service-based model. "To provide transportation information services to the industry and the public" is becoming an indispensable part of road transportation administration information content. The key technology to achieve road transportation administration information is the establishment of Highway Management Information System. It is necessary to build a road transportation administration system of market management of the five major road transport administration, including passenger transport, freight transport, driver training of the motor vehicle, Vehicle maintenance, passenger and cargo transport station, in order to push forward the modernization of road traffic and the establishment and implementation of the national transportation information network platform.Firstly, this paper introduces the situation of the transportation management information system, and gives a summary to the problems of the business management.
