Liaocheng EDGE Network Optimization Design And Implementation

Liaocheng Mobile Communications Company completed the EDGE network upgrade in the end of January 2007 ,then we strongly promote the EDGE wireless Internet business .The mobile handset always support EDGE features after 2005. With the demand of users, we enter into the EDGE time from the GPRS ,only by two years. With the growth of users and EDGE terminal, EDGE network has been the expansion of scale. How to guarantee the network performance under the premise of continually enhancing network efficiency, how to improve resource efficiency at the same time of improving customer service quality, and how to achieve business efficiency and customer services of a win-win situation, EDGE network optimization has become the first problem to be solved for the further development.This article takes Ericsson's EDGE network system as an example, from routine maintenance and optimization , introduces the EDGE wireless data network system architecture, technical advantages, and key technologies, describes optimization process involved in various types of statistical indicators and network optimization steps ,also made a further elaborated in combination with optimize examples.This article is divided into six parts: the first part describes the basic concept of EDGE network and the status of Liaocheng network; the second part introduces the EDGE network optimization objectives, main contents and implementation steps; the third part introduces indicators system which often used in EDGE network optimization ; the fourth part outlines the EDGE network deal with failure ;the fifth part recounts the EDGE network optimization from the business model, the capacity optimization and the rate optimization, and illustrates the need for network optimization combined cases ; the six part advances a summary and introduces new technologies of EDGE network optimization.
