Framework and pattern, which can improve the software development efficiency by the reuse of components, are important reusable technologies in the development process of J2EE applications. The quality of J2EE project is just controlled by the frameworks and patterns. The framework technology, which in some extent assuredly constrains the freedom of the programmers when they are programming, brings the reusable components and the high quality of the software, and also brings the module-based development model.Struts can reduce the burden of constructing web applications by providing reusable software architecture. But when developing J2EE projects using the standard Struts framework, it demonstrates some shortcomings, such as the low ratio of the reuse of the internal modules, some components not meeting the actual requirements, the lack of the components aiming to develop the normalized model layer, the complexity when extending the verification framework.For the faults of traditional web framework, this paper put forward a creative resolution on view layer, which resolved the communication problem between different layers and support the Ajax dynamic technology. Through research of each open source softwar, designed and implement a web application framework based on Ext, DWR, Spring, Hibernate.The new framework has been used on the ERP project of Chinese People's Liberation Army 6456 Factory, the result implied that the new framework has better conmponent construct, easy developing, easy maintance characters etc. Compared with traditional framework, it has less developement time and average response time, the quality of interface nearly to the desktop application.
