The Analysis And Design Of The Student Information Management System Based On UML

Nowadays with the development of university scale and increasing enrollment of students it becomes more and more significant how to deal with the large number of students data information. In fact, student management is the major part that composes the whole in higher vocational colleges. It is a kind of meticulous but complicated work. As teachers usually collect the students information by hand so that it is so difficult for us to query, classify, collect and analyze them scientifically. Thus all these stimulate us to develop a student information management system in order to realize the informationization of student management.In order to meet the demand of student management in Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture, this paper with a combination of practical experience introduces the analysis and design process of student information management system in higher vocational colleges based on UML modeling. Firstly it presents the characteristics, objectives and major issues of UML. And then it analyzes and designs the system in detail to construct the static model and dynamic model by utilizing the practical popular JUDE software. Based on the development environment of Visual Studio.NET 2005 it uses SQL Server 2005 as the back database server.Last but not least, by introducing the student management information system in Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture it points out that the student management information system in student management performs a positive and important function. Meanwhile it puts forward a further expectation of the system development how to deal with the integration and share of data resources. Generally speaking, this paper provides a relatively complete analysis method and design for the development of student management information system.
