Design And Implementation Of Core Business System For Life Insurance In New China Life Insurance

Life insurance core business system of New China Life Insurance CO.,LTD (NCI)is the fundamental business operation and sales management supporting platform for NCI. It includes the standard business processes through integration, support for the channel services and business management. Therefore, life insurance core business system is the most important information management system for Life Insurance Company.Based on a specific business requirement as the background, a specific life insurance core business system of NCI is designed and realized in this dissertation. We adopt component-based development (CBD) ideas to direct our design and implementation process.We focus on new business, underwriting, renewal, policy management, claim, sales management and payment management in the core system; analysis the each business contents and main function. The following part of the dissertation talks about the overall system framework model, and describes the layer relationship between component-based application model and all components. Based on the application model, the dissertation explains the detailed design of business flow, data model and each model. This shows a part of business functions, which is introduced in application flow, database flow, coding logic and application interface to realize the business process and interface definitions in Life insurance core business system of NCI . Its realization method using Component-based development is also explained practically.This dissertation introduces the core business system includes the main function of business applications, and NCI into actual business operations. It provided a stable and reliable support for NCI in the core business information construction.
