Design And Implementation Of A Integrated Management Information System Of In-Service Education

The discussion of this article is based on the Integrated Management Information System (hereinafter referred to as Information System) established to meet the educational needs of the Agricultural Management Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the features of the actual business requirement and business processes of the Agricultural Management Institute, the article puts forward the design proposal of the Information System, consulting the information management experience of the same education organizations. It puts forward the methods and conclusion of project management for the implement processes of the Information System.The design proposal consists of two parts of hardware and software. The hardware component discussed the design of network platform based on three-layer structure: core layer, convergence layer, access layer; the software component discussed the module division of the application system, includes 7 application subsystems, namely, the training management system, the collaborative office systems (including information release, the internal e-mail), an integrated library management systems, streaming media multi-service system, a comprehensive hotel business management system, and external web site and e-mail system, and a display system of public service.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the Information System, the article concludes the ideology of building of the information system has realized the conversion of management priority to operation priority, which is manifested in the adoption of a service-oriented thinking in the design of system architecture and in the adoption of the object-oriented J2EE technology. Meanwhile, it reflects the control of cost and risk on ideological principles of system design, technical routes and project management. It is of great value to design and implement the same education information systems.
