Single Sign On is an important part of the informationization of Bureau of Statistical of Beijing. It can solve the problems of logging again and again among different systems according to the users' specific conditions. It can ensure the dependability and security of the whole system, without destroying and disturbing the existing system.The thesis separately elaborates the process of software development concerning Single Sign On (abbreviated as SSO) based on Object-Oriented concept and technology. The parts are demand analysis, scenario design, outline design, details design, key parts design, function testing and so on. The core design concept of this system is to use Sign On Ticket to control user's operations, such as logging in, requesting, logging out, and to guarantee the security of accessing. The system adopts Technology of Implement to Interface which correspond with J2EE to support the authentication approaches of other systems, including password and certificate. It also uses The Filter Technique to integrate all information systems without destroying and disturbing the existing system. By recording the server's name on the Ticket, it can check its availability. Hereby, the system is able to support the cluster of servers with SSO, and enhance the concurrent rate of the system and meanwhile ensure the whole dependability.According to the results of testing and running-in, we can conclude the design concept and implementing methods of SSO is able to satisfy the users and help them to solve the problems during their daily work.
