A Adaptive Shot Boundary Detection Alogrithm Based On Movement Characteristics And Realize

With the multi-media technology and Web technology, content-based video retrieval system in these years become a hot research. To combine the computer vision technology, digital image processing and traditional database technology, establishment content-based video retrieval system will be a very meaningful research. As the most basic steps of this system, video shot boundary detection is very important with accuracy. There are difference algorithm for difference type of video. The interference of movement is the difficult problem for shot boundary detection. None algorithm for sports video which contents a lot of movement has a good accuracy.In this paper we devise a new shot boundary detection for sports video.Basic concepts, research background and research meanings are introduced. Various shot detection methods in decompressed domain are studied. The traditional algorithms are systemically analyzed, and the issues which are focused are proposed.The focus of this paper is have a new algorithm for the Characteristics of sports video. The new algorithm can solute problems as:(1) Reduce the interference of movement for shot boundary detection. (2) The algorithm for different video has good results.The main job of this thesis is as follows:1. The use of multi-frame frame as bad eigenvalue method. This method can effectively suppress random noise and flash of the impact of shot boundary detection. Shot boundary detection algorithm to improve accuracy.2. Proposed adaptive thresholding algorithm. The algorithm effectively solve the global threshold can only be tested on video sequences or part of one of the video frame for a relatively good detection of the effect of disadvantage. Flexible algorithm accuracy, robustness.3. For Sports Sports video shot boundary detection on the interference, add camera motion proposed analysis method. This method can effectively distinguish camera motion. Improve the algorithm accuracy.The new algorithm is better the older one which proof by the results of a lot of experimentation.
