In this paper, after the study to detection technology of the uplift amount of contact wire, aiming at the shortcomings and disadvantages of the existing measurement methods, relying on wireless network and image processing techniques, proposed the method of fixed non-contact to measure the uplift amount of the contact wire for the first time, and then got the amount of vibration of contact wire.The design and choice of algorithm in the detection system in this paper is based on the characteristics of the impact of fractional differential on signal. in accordance with the difference equation is derived by G-L definition to Fractional differential, constructed the edge detection operator - FracDiff operator, which with the linear error compensation, through testing with the detection operator and algorithms, such as Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts, Log, Canny, Laplace operator, made a comparative analysis of performance, found the FracDiff operator structed, not only can detect the edge of rich information, but also itself has a strong ability of anti-noise, and at the same time,the comparative analysis was carried out among the different order of differential operator, and discovered that not only the ability of edge detection was with a certain degree of stability, but the overall trend with the increase of the number of the order v is, after binarization, it will show more and more coarse texture.Then, for the specific characteristics of the detection object, combining with the characteristics of the detection operator of fractional differential operator-FracDiff, using the strategy of non-maxima suppression, applying the method of median filtering and so on, made the refinement and selection to the image matrix generated after the processing by FracDiff operator, acquired the information of vertical edge of the accuracy of single pixel, and experimental verification shows that the effect is well.In the process of the design of real-time detection system of the vibration of contact wire, bonding the application environment and measuring object, applying technologies such as wireless network, determined the measurement program and important equipments, and against the telephoto lenses selected, designed and implemented the calibration method for polynomial fitting in the sense of least squares based on discrete orthogonal polynomials. At the same time, on the platform of VC- based, designed and developed the application software of multi-threaded client and server. The actual measurement of the entire system indicates that not only the design and algorithms operator has a strong practicality, the entire system performance is also better.
