Downhole dynamic inclinometer system is a device that can do the real-time detection and information retrieval for the hole inclination and the corresponding direction of well deflection while drilling. It is mainly used for automatic vertical drilling or automatic detection and control of the directional drilling, it is one of the key technologies of automatic control of hole deviation. This paper elaborated the meaning and development situation of hole deviation automatic measurement. Introduced the currently existing hole deviation measurement methods and the inclination measurement technology based on acceleration sensor. A static and a dynamic mathematical model of the gravity acceleration gauge was constructed separately. A method, extracting the rotation signal of the system with Butterworth low-pass filter was proposed, which solved the gravity acceleration hole deviation measurement problem when it rotate randomly. A inclinometer simulation model was constructed with ADAMS, verified the correctness of the mathematical model of the inclinometer system through joint simulation with ADAMS and SIMULINK. After this analysis, a prototype was built based on the automatic vertical drilling tool theory, researched the method of gravity acceleration installation and demarcation, signal on-line extraction. Through enormous amount of experiment for the experimental device and the analysis and comparison of different data processing methods, verified the correctness of the dynamic mathematical model of gravity acceleration gauge and practicality of measurement methods , laid a foundation for high-precision automated drilling control.
