Research And Implementation Of EDBA Algorithm For Hard Disk Swift Copy Based On Linux

EDBA algorithm is a new method to analyse and get the disk datum of Red Hat Linux OS, using EDBA algorithm can effectively complete the operations of disk datum.Red Hat Linux Os represents the popularly different versions of Linux, Ext2 file system gradually becomes the popular file system format. With widely used in the finance, governments, enterprises and other fields, but in the Network Cluster, while copying Ext2 file system format to other hard disks, this operation will relatively waste much more time and low effeciency. By analyzing the data structure of Ext2 file system on the hard disk partition and getting the effective data bitmap, put forward to the effective data bitmap analyse algorithm and apply it to improve the speed and efficiency of hard disk copy dramatically.Through referring to many books and papers, deeply analyse Ext2 file system format and its data structure format saved on the disk, put forward to EDBA algorithm. Paying more attention to using VMware Workstation and C programming language: by obtaining the effective data bitmap of disk and simulating the operation of hard disk copy, the experiment result shows that the linked disk can normally start the Linux operation system. Moreover, the datum of linked disk is the same as the original datum. The result also shows that the EDBA algorithm is right and rational.In the Network Cluster, when executing the operation of large capacity hard disk copy, comparing with the former netcopy and data operation, using effective data bitmap analyse algorithm to get effective data bitmap, according to the effective data bitmap to access the datum and transmit the datum to the other computer of Network cluster, especially, in the operation: hard disk copy, data reconstruction or data updating. EDBA is a new and exploratory research method.
