| In this paper, I studied the basic theory, architecture, procedure and concept, algorithm and technology about file system and disk management. Based on these research, 1 gives the details of how to build a real file system. First I elaborate the content of disk management, file system format, etc. Above steps are the important part of file system realization. And I choose two types of file system which are most popular now and build them. One is FAT 16 file system which I build in our private page modal operating system. The other is inode type file system which I build in LINUX operating system with the support of Virtual File System.Now a days, we still havn't PC operating system developed by ourselves in our country. Our research on developing a PC operating system is a important attempt with great meanings. |
