The HLA-Based Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE), which is an important part of Tactical Countermine Simulation System, makes it possible to represent the tactical details and combat processes of SOS operation, to assist the demonstrator to validate the logic correctness of the weapon entity physics behavior models and command decision-making models quickly. The engine of simulation system which controls the whole schedule can not provide sufficient fine-grained data of behavior representation for Virtual Battlefield Environment Federate as a result of the high level of tactical maneuver, the large number of weapons and the complexity of combat processes. It's essential that the behavior refined model in virtual battlefield environment is required to provide fine-grained data for representing the discrete and continuous behavior in the tactical simulation, and making the three-dimensional representation more continuous, smooth and realistic. This thesis is rooted in the problem of the inconsistency in granularity between simulation data and representation data in an application background of the virtual battlefield environment in Navy tactical simulation. This thesis mainly focuses on the architecture and model framework of Navy virtual battlefield environment based on behavior refined model, whose contents can be divided into several sections as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the discrete behavior modeling, a refined model framework of discrete behavior refined based on improved Finite State Machine (FSM) is proposed, which fulfils the need of discrete behavior representation in tactical simulation;(2) After the analysis of the characteristics of the continuous behavior modeling, a partition based on whether there is a constraint by engine is proposed. Subsequently the continuous behavior model of trajectory refined based on improved Dead Reckoning (DR) and Interpolation method is designed;(3) The architecture of Navy virtual battlefield environment and the framework of each component based on the behavior refined model are proposed in respect of the representation requirement of Navy tactical simulation virtual environment, and the scheduling control mechanism of the system is established;(4) An antisubmarine countermeasure virtual battlefield environment system, named SimSmartBase1.0, is designed and implemented based on the principles proposed above. The research fruit of this thesis is significant theoretically as well as practically. It can be applied in the similar projects to develop and integrate the behavior models and has been applied preliminarily in Navy Tactical Simulation.
