With the development of sensor technology, space technology and data communication technology, remote sensing data is larger and larger, the resolution ratio of data is higher and higher, and the requirement of displaying mass data increase day by day. How to process the mass remote sensing data selectively and pertinently is one of the most popular and important problems in ground application of satellite remote sensing.Quick-View is one effective method designed for previewing mass remote sensing data. While receiving satellite remote sensing data or after received the data, software create the image data named for Quick-View data which have no more correction process immediately. By observing Quick-View data, users could not only understand the basic condition of remote sensing data conveniently, but could also find the information of targets which users pay attention to quickly. This information can be used to extract target data from mass remote sensing data, which would be used to make image product. The software system which does Quick-View and target data extract is called Quick-View and Target Extract subsystem that it is one of most important parts of ground application system of satellite remote sensing.Based on the theory of software engineering and the experience of past the same development, this paper advance an effective plan of Real-time Quick-View and Target Extract subsystem, which process the raw satellite remote sensing data, then generate the primary product and the Quick-View data. The system also provides the functionality of extracting the target data. The system have been proved that it is effective and been used in real project.
