In this thesis, to reduce the project cost, reduce the special volume, and satisfy the technical advancement. In this paper, advanced technologies such as multiple-pass, active beam control, high power LED pump, thin disk laser and so on were utilized, LD pump thin disk multiple-pass amplification module was developed, energy amplify from mJ to J magnitude was achieved. Multiple-pass amplification was analyzed from speed mathematical equation. According to interrelated theory and experience, 27KW pumping source and coupler was designed. The optimal array style of pump and parameter ware simulated by software, and well-distributed square pump was achieved. Based on lots of gain experiments ,ASE effect was discussed and factors which influence ASE was analyzed. Parameter of coupler was chose, The parameters of the thin disk medium were redesigned to restrain ASE and to increase gain.
