Energy transfer dynamics in peripheral light-harvesting complexⅡfrom high plant has been investigated.F(o|¨)rster energy transfer mechanism and 2.72(?) LHCII structural information reported by Liu et al are used to calculate excitation energy transfer time constants between the pigments.By Comparison of experimentally recorded energy transfer time constants with the calculated results,identification of pigments participating in energy transfer was analysed. Energy transfer process between monomeric subunits in LHCII occurs in picoseconds order,which is testified by theory.Mathematical model of least square method is used to deal with experimental data.By analysing the fluorescence emission spectra of LHCII by Gaussian fitting,Gaussian spectral components and spectral parameters are obtained.Energy tansfer process is analysed by means of comparing calculations with absorption spectra and excitation energy transfer mechanism.
