Research And Application On Face Recognition Algorithms In Vehicle Anti-Theft System

The vehicle anti-theft system of face recognition is designed in this paper. The algorithms of face recognition are researched. The algorithm of template matching for face detection and PCA algorithm for face recognition are emphasized . The limitation and certain condition in the vechicles was considered..And the algorithm of template matching for face detection and PCA algorithm for face recognition are taken in the anti-theft system of face recognition,so the task of recognition was completed.It is proved in the experiment that the system get a good result of the recognition.At the same time the system is real-time. The system had the advantage of fast ,simple,no invasion to the driver and no need cooperation of the driver.The anti-theft efficiency of the vehicles is improved.The hardware and software design of the vehicle anti-theft system of face recognition are completed in this paper.The embedded equipment is taken as the hardware platform and WinCE is taken as the operating system . The vehicle anti-theft system of face recognition which has human-computer interaction interface is developed.Face recognition is used in vehicle anti-theft system is proved efficient.
