Human Face Detection And Recognition Technology In The Network Monitoring System

Nowadays, human being's face detection and identification research involves many fields, especially having a closely link with human-computer interaction field and identification method based on other creatures. This technology has been in widely used in human being's work and life, especially in security area, which makes the technology of face detection and recognition a hotspot and key point.The paper mainly researched the basic theory and key technology of face detection and recognition in the network video monitoring system, and the research mainly includes the following aspects:1. Improved the skin color detection algorithm based on YCbCr color space. Using the result of previous frame skin color detection in video sequence and the method of color knowledge with simplified rules of color judgment, and using the improved median filtering method on binary image simplifies the skin color detection algorithm, proposed a rapid detection of skin regional on color video frames algorithm based on the YcbCr color space.2. On the basis of face detection using the binary template matching bace on skin color segment. Achieved a real-time face detection algorithm on video surveillanee.3. Use a method of achieving a real-time face detection algorithm for video surveillance, using OpenCV baced on the face detection of AdaBoost.4. Construced a smart attendanee system baced the face detection and recognition, facing the office envirionment. Under the video surveillance in the office environment, achieced a fully automated self-learning monitoring attendance recod without human intervention.
