With the development of electronic technology, low power requirements have aroused great consideration in many electronic systems. Particularly, reducing standby power consumption has become the clearest indicators of low power consumption product. At present, Europe and the United States have made strict rules against the power loss in empty-load: the European Economic Association (EEC) has draw various loss power regulation for different rated wattage,such as in January 1,2005,standby power of 15W ~ 50W consumption product must be less than 0.5W;the United States government agencies have prohibited from buying more than 1W standby power of electrical products from July 2001, so the low standby power consumption has become a popular in the field of Power converter design.In this paper,the design can be used in lithium battery charger and low-power AC/DC adapter,integrated within PWM controller and high-voltage Power MOSFET power switch, built-in rechargeable battery designed specifically for the constant current and constant voltage (CV-CC) control technology,Jitter Frequency (Frequency Shuffling) technology .This design use current control PWM mode, which greatly raised the chip supply voltage and load transient response to changes,this article also designed soft-start circuit to avoid the start of the big current. When the load is light,the system will automatically enter the Burst mode to improve the efficiency of the system. This chip also has protection of under-voltage protection,overvoltage protection,over current protection and other features.The system makes no optic coupler design, the 431 and X/Y capacitor,The system is the best choice to low power adapter and battery charger.The entire circuit design Based on 1.0um 40V CMOS process,complete pre-simulation and post-simulation using Hspice,the simulation results show that it support the full range of 85-265V AC voltage input, conversion efficiency is greater than 75 percent, standby power consumption is less than 150mW,fully meeting the needs of green energy require.
