The widely application of lidar ,associates with many subjects is of great importance to the fields of military and civilian.The synchronization method and interrelated technology of bistatic lidar are studied in this thesis. The theory of bistatic lidar and laser radar equation is firstly introduced, the key factors affect measuring noise of the bistatic lidar is discussed, and the relationship between angle of receiver field and background noise is analyzed. The method of space synchronization accord with requires of the system is determined based on laser transmission and detecting space area. Time synchronization of bistatic lidar is investigated in this thesis, various time synchronization signal transmission methods and error correcting are analyzed, the technique of time synchronization is to choose coaxial cable transmission based on direct synchronization, which uses single-chip as external trigger to driver laser working. Work performance of bistatic time synchronization is validated by using the monostatic lidar and bistatic lidar experimental system, the scheme of bistatic lidar coaxial cable transmission is proved to be feasible, and ranging precision is presented. Eventually, system noises in various kinds of background are measured, and the minimum detectable signal of the experimental system which is the precondition of space synchronization is determined .
