Expression And Function Of Speech Source In News Discourse

This thesis surveys and comments on the speech source based on the Wenhui Daily, though the method combined with the description and explanation, qualitative study and quantitative study, static state and dynamic state, which can expand the knowledge about the phenomenon of language report in news discourse.This thesis includes three chapters.Chapter 1 focuses on the expression forms of speech source and classifies them into three categories, 'human speech source', 'organization speech source' and 'text speech source'. After analyzing the each detail expressions of above categories, this chapter describes the essence features of on principium. At last, this chapter also summarizes the two points on expression of speech source.Chapter 2 analyzes speech source forms in news discourse coreferential expressions and makes full comparisons with different expressions in different text location. And then tries to explain them in information transfer and style feature terms.Chapter 3 surveys function of speech source in news discourse with the detail analyzing on incoherent of text, semantic expression on news and tendentious value of communication.
