In time domain and frequency domain, Wavelet transform have good localization properties, which overcome the Fourier transform of the lack that is the joint detection of time-frequency. The 1980's, wavelet transform, that has been widely using, is a new mathematical analysis tools. In 1996, Swelden proposed the lifting wavelet format that is the second generation wavelet transform. In this paper, ECG signal are processed by the second generation wavelet. Chapter 3 of this paper has detailed description of the second generation wavelet theory and application.Because the second generation wavelet transform has great advantages. In recent years, it has been used in clinical medicine, such as ECG's QRS detection, medical image compression etc. This paper is focused on ECG's QRS detection. The ECG's waveform reflects the characteristics of the human heart and other physiological characteristics, so ECG accurate analysis and detection is very important. At present, ECG automated analysis and diagnosis is a research hotspot. The automatic diagnostic equipment is used to detection ECG's QRS. However, existing methods of automatic analysis of ECG is not perfect, there are still many shortcomings and deficiencies. Based on the status, this paper will focus on "ECG detection and fiducial point location" as a further applied research.The QRS is mainly determined based on the R's wave. ECG detection, therefore, is mainly to accurately determine the location and R-wave amplitude. Found by observing an internationally recognized authority of MIT/BIT standard ECG data, the ECG of each person is very similar. So, in this paper, the characteristics of the use of this graphics matching method to deal with ECG found through simulation, the method is feasible.
