With the progressive development of Intelligent Transportation System, the level of information of our country's transport system has been enhanced. In order to meet the future requirements of information society, our country made to the integrated intelligent transportation system as a development of public transport in our country long-term strategic objectives, which also pointed out that the future of our transport system is the development trend of intelligent and integrated. Intelligent transport systems and integration of the need to achieve a variety of transport modes, traffic departments, multiple applications of the organic integration between the systems. Integrated information platform and the traffic is in the information under the condition of the realization of inter-departmental and inter-system integration of the major route of transmission.Through the establishment of an integrated transportation information platform and data flow can be as a link, the means of the use of information and decision-making support, the realization of various intelligent transportation system for the effective integration and integration; traffic integrated information platform can share the data analyze information and tap the knowledge available to a number of user object, including individual users and system users, traffic information in order to achieve value-added services, transport system extended services.This paper will be taken into account the traffic GIS application integrated information system and significance of the special advantages to discuss and explore the GIS in the field of intelligent transportation applications the deep-seated. Papers of "Shanghai traffic integrated information query system" as an example, the main system is built using Flex single desktop application, the system is divided into line inquiries, structure browsing, real-time traffic reports, four thematic sub-modules Expo. Among them, the route query module is described in this article and research will focus on the modules, line modules query the following three branches: Bus Line inquiries, inquiries, and peripheral drive circuits inquiries. Line query using B/S structure, using Tomcat technical publication; different functions based on different development platforms and technology, public inquiries, the main module used C + + and SQL Server, driving directions query module mainly VB and Map Object.With the new technology development and application of in-depth, GIS in the field of intelligent transportation will become increasingly extensive and in-depth, because the GIS and Intelligent Transportation have innate links, transportation routes query has relation whit location is inevitable, and GIS is the best way to solve location-related applications.
