WSNs consist of large number of sensor nodes which have the capability of computing,sensing and conmmunicating.Most sensor nodes are low-cost and resources constrained compared to other embedded systems,so it can be deployed in a large scale.Energy effieiency is one of the most challenging issues since most of the sensor nodes are battery powered.The software in a deployed WSNs often needs to be changed,eg,updating the system with new functionality,or fixing software bugs.Hence,reprogramming of WSNs is a designed feature.Usually a large number of sensor nodes are spread over a large field which is usually unreachable.Updating software manually is impossible.so network managers need remote reprogramming ability in order to add new funetionality or fix software bugs.This article briefly introduced the development of ZIGBEE technology and the specifieation of it,also the characteristics of the CC2430 chip on which the ZIGBEE technology,can be implemenied.In section three,we Introduced the method to construct an ECG acquisition platform on ZIGBEE based network with multi-node,which is based on an SOC ZIGBEE chip CC2430.Furthermore,the hardware design and software ECG sampling process was introduced,respectively.On the platform,we can get ECG data in abundance.,and enable the user get more activity.Furthermore,we have to face the struggle among the lower translation rate of LP_WSN,Such as ZIGBEE,the finite capcility of microprocessor, and the plentiful data.To release the conliction,we advanced the method in section four for compresing and recovering electrocardiogram data which is based on it's characteristics point,to deduced the load of the wireless network,and to mak sure the main information.In the strategy,compressing the ECG data through the acquisition of ECG characteristics point,and recovering the ECG data,through the shape-preserving PCHIP(Piecewise Cubic Hermite Interpolating) arithmetic.
