H.264 is the latest research results in series of H.26X.Like the previous standards,it is also a mixed coding model of prediction and mathematics,and optimizes the details of every process,so the coding efficiency is greatly enhanced And,it could adapt to different network environment,so the range of uses of the video codec is greatly expanded H.264 has a very extensive application prospect and good research value.Firstly,the overall framework,data flow,position and the convergence between each process of the H.264/AVC video codec standard are analyzed.Secondly,many main points of the prediction techniques are explained from the practical point of view.The range of uses and the method of selection of the intraframe prediction and interframe prediction are clearly given.The macroblock division mechanism of H.264/AVC is more flexible than past standard,so the numbers of prediction modes are increased.The optimal solution has to be select from the modes in order to obtain the best results,but it leads to more calculation, especially in interframe prediction.And the motion compensation of H.264/AVC uses many reference pictures.,the process has to cost more time in order to find the best matching block in motion search.Therefore,the dissertation sums up the most frequently used motion search algorithms nowadays,analyzes their advantages and disadvantages,gives a motion search optimization model,which bases on fully motion search.The Motion search optimization model is one of the main research works.Its theoretical foundation is the three characteristics of video sequences,and its goals are optimal search area and scan sequence.It contains two algorithms: Classification Spiral Optimize Algorithm and Re-classified Spiral Optimize Algorithm,and the range of uses of them are given in the dissertation.Finally,the simulation experiment shows that these algorithms can reduce more coding time with little loss of quality,plays a good effect of optimization.Then the concept and algorithm implementation in exFat of the File Transfer Layer are proposed.The definition of the essential data structure and implementation of the essential process of algorithm are given.File Information Block and File Management Cluster Chain Mechanism to manage video files are proposed,and a number of implementation strategies are given,such as the block replacement strategy,which base on the characteristics of video data,and a detailed definition for the portability of each process is made.Finally,the experiment shows the scopes and effects of FTL.
