Now, h.264 is the best video image compress code standard in the world. There are more and more applications based on h.264. This paper introduces some algorithm optimization on several parts of h.264 based a project problem, and do some optimization in our DSP's embedded system.We do some research for real-time and high precision request of application background. We analyze interger pixel motion search algorithm in inter-prediction part which costs the most time in h.264 standard, produce our new search algorithm— —area choose TWSS after reading a lot of correlative research productions of national and international, and validate it in our application system. The result indicates that the ACTWSS can reduce mostly search point in interger pixel motion search process, expedite compute speed, at the same time, there isn't obvious effect for image quality after processing.For the request of image precision, we ameliorate the interger-transform and quantification process in some detail, reduce error brought by compute process, enhance the image precision.In the last, we discuss how to execute the source program more efficient in DSP chip. We use mixed programming of C and assembly language and merge their merits to realize higher efficiency and shorter execution time.
