The main function of the satellite ground station is the reception of the satellite remote sensing and telemetry data, and sending the remote control commands to the satellite. Task management subsystem (TMS) is the central control of the ground station. It can forecast the satellite orbit time based on the orbital parameters, generate the schedule of the satellite orbit. Before the satellite is into the orbit every time, the TMS configs all the device parameters, and starts the other systems. The purpose of the design and implement of this system is to complete the compatible task management system for the micro-satellite groundstation and to achieve and guarantee the normal operation of the station.The system has the functions of showing the satellite orbit, data management, device monitoring, main controling, task scheduling, data communication and orbitdata processing. The task schedule function is the core function of the system. It can make the schedule for every other subsystem of the station based on the schedule which is maked from TMS, that allows TMS to control the other systems work. The task schedule function can also monitor the other subsystems work states, including data receiving state, receiving quality state and work excuting state.Through the design and implementation of the Task Management System, we meet all the customer's requirements practicably and complete the main subsystem of the satellite ground station.The system provides the foundation and protection for the operation going on smoothly. It can also be the reference for building the micro-satellite ground station of China.
