With popularization of Internet, People require more and more Internetresource and service. So how to share the resource in the internet being more important, there comes p2p transmission mode. It solicitation the revolution of the internetresource share mode, using all participants' transmission competence and calculationcompetence, make resource share easy and quick. And the technology of the internet is more matured day by day, the internet structure ismore complex, the test and analysis of network behavior and feature is more and moreimportant. There are many scholars analyzing the p2p network with many features like downloadtime, resource feature and so on, they test the p2p network and write paper. Our paper isdone base on their analysis, test and analyze the data set of the most popular IPTV --PPLive.This paper based on the system structure and principle of PPLive, analyzes the PPLive'sdata format and peer alternation cache message format, used the Crawler which codingby the teacher of out lab to catch the data set, did the primary analysis. The Chapter 3 of the paper used the data set to do the analysis of time curve and theplayback rate, defined the client cache parameter and promote curve, give the conceptof service curve, deduce the concept when use CBR.Common arithmetic of network tested data processing are linear regression arithmeticand linear programming and so on, again, people invented the convex hull arithmeticequal to linear programming arithmetic. The literature 23 gives a PLEA arithmeticwhich I used in this paper to analyze the data set, approach the offset and protract somegraphs. At the end of the paper, we give a very interesting and usable fact. This fact made theresearch followed a rational line well.
