3GPP Long Term Evolution(LTE)Project is an evolved project with regard to UTRA and UTRAN, which is a technical evolution for the whole network, including core network. The voice services are implemented by VoIP. LTE mainly consists of two parts: wireless access and wireless network structure. Instead of circuit domain. there is packet domain only. LTE is the biggest project on new technique development launched by 3GPP in the recent two years.The main research work is to introduce the physical layer structure of down link basing on key technology of LTE. It includes creating the structure of the simulation system, building the important modules, debug the system, optimize the algorithm and analyze the result.The work first introduces the development of the LTE and some key technology. Then the work describes the architecture of the simulation system, some algorithm of matrix. Third, introduce some important modules and give the process of the implement. The last work is to analysis the result.Because the simulation system is based on the C++ platform, it is different with the matlab which can transfer some function directly. The purpose of this work is to according to the architecture, build the simulation system using the C++, optimize the program, increasing the running speed and expand some new function such as add delay, MIMO and so.
