Research On Replica Consistence Maintanence Of Distributed Directory Service System

With the rapid development of computer technology, the acceleration of information infrastructure construction, the popularity of the internet., the difficulty of information-sharing and lack of personalized services have become more prominent. It have become the common goal of the network managers to manage network resources and information in a effective and convenient way.In the distributed environment, the directory services technology enable to implement information storage and sharing in a common format and manner. At the same time, it is able to provide the public information capacity system, enhance the speed of query information and lower the management complexity.Based on the open-source directory services software OpenLDAP, the distributed directory services system ARTS-DDSS is designed and implemented. The paper proposes the architecture of the Distributed Replication Management System DRMS and the replica maintaining consistency strategy are discussed.First of all, the paper sums up the performance requirements of Distributed Directory Service System , and designs the core module of it - Distributed Replication Management System.Secondly, the single - server and the multi - server replication transmission pattern are studied, and then presents the mixed-server transmission mode that can overcomes the shortcomings of them effectively.
