Fiber-optic magnetic sensor has great development potential and application foreground with its high sensitivity, large dynamic range, and so on. It becomes the hot topic in the field of research on magnetic sensor technologies. Magnetostrictive material was used in one arm of the Mach-Zehnder interferometror to detect a weak magnetic field with high sensitivity, so it becomes one of the main methods for weak-signal fiber-optic magnetic sensors. The study target of this thesis is to analyze interferometric fiber-optic magnetic sensor, which is part work of"interferometric fiber-optic magnetic sensor"project in our group. The research work of this thesis is mainly focused on the finite element analysis of the magnetic field of fiber-optic magnetic sensor, the sensitivity analysis of the sensor system, and the software demodulation of sensor signal. The main productions of the research include:1. Starting from the basic theory of electromagnetic field, and the finite element analysis of numerical problems, the magnetic field of fiber-optic magnetic sensor using ANSYS was analyzed; the mathematical model and some useful results of magnetic field of the sensor are given.2. With theoretic analysis, finite element analysis is used to analyze the magnetic field of the sensor and the sensitivity of the system is calculated, which provide a theoretic recommendation for the optimization design of inteferometric sensors and the enhancement of system sensitivity.3. The method of the software demodulation, the program to demodulate the sensor signal, and helpful result of the demodulation are presented.
