As link between Internet and data communications becomes closer and closer, the whole world is rapidly evolving into mobile information society. Traditional and limited data access process is no longer satisfied, while it will be extended to the vaster geographic area. People is no longer satisfied with fixed data access mode, but hope to query data in any place and time, and even access data in mobile process. In the business field, with the needs of work and life, people have to do some business like sending and receiving e-mails, reading news, investing in stock and buying online. As the supplement to the desktop computers, the mobile devices are used by most people for all kinds of trade and improve working efficiency. Mobile E-Commerce greatly widened the applied range and field of E-Commerce.Mobile E-Commerce, popularly known as M-Commerce, is the process of buying and selling of goods and services through mobile devices such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other potable devices. M-Commerce cannot be completely portrayed as a logical extension of E-Commerce .Compared with the traditional E-Commerce, M-Commerce has some advantages such as immediate, flexible, convenient, etc, so it allows users to customize services to suit one's needs and preferences without the limitation of time and location and communication equipments. With the continuous improvement of intelligence of mobile terminals, Mobile Shopping, Mobile Location and Mobile Television are being paid more and more attention of the human society. By means of M-Commerce, the users can enjoy information, services, applications and entertainments they want by mobile devices at a time convenient to them, in any place.Now most original E-Commerce systems are no longer fit to the new M-Commerce mode. But the cost of rewriting new system is too high, so the new system must maximize the use of the original one. Facing the challenges brought by the mobile e-business, the original software architecture has been difficult to meet the requirements of the applications. In this paper, the new generation of software architecture—Service Oriented Architecture, SOA is used to build M-Commerce systems, and put forward a theater-booking system based on mobile devices. The work and innovations of this paper are as follows.1. Discuss the development of M-Commerce. Give a general introduction to the overall development situation of E-Commerce and M-Commerce. Combining with the situation of M-Commerce all over the world, analyze the background of China's carrying out M-Commerce. In the sphere of theory, prove the technology of M-Commerce.2. Research SOA and introduce the related concept of SOA, including: principles of service orientation, SOA concepts, SOA protocol stack, the features and advantages of SOA, the relationship between SOA and Web services, etc.3. Study Web services which are applied to realizing service-oriented architecture, including: the concepts of Web services, the roles of Web services model and the cooperative relationship between them, the standards and protocols of Web services as XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI, etc.4. Put forward a mobile theater-booking system which is based on SOA. The system can offer services to all kinds of mobile devices such as programs inquiry, tickets inquiry, selecting and booking, etc. The users can conveniently enjoy"on-demand services"at any time and in any place, and the system can also create considerable benefits for the service provider and merchants.5. Design a lightweight Web services registration center. Uses can dynamically find information which is published by the merchants and book tickets by using the application programs of mobile clients, and the merchants can judge the users'legitimacy and offer interactive and graphic operation interface by querying the Web services registration center.6. Design a graphical booking interface and users can select seats easily by resizing and selecting images.7. Put forward organization model of vector graphics library which is based on Mobile SVG standards. Compress the graphic files and reduce data access latency, so that to share and manage graphic files more conveniently. Clients can dynamically generate running rooms'seat-status graphics in the process of booking and be easy operation.8. Introduce the Ajax technique to solve the conflicts generate by multiple users simultaneously booking.In the mobile theater-booking system, mobile client application programs are developed by ASP.NET Mobile Controls. Use Ajax to increase the refresh rate of client browsers. The Web server using Microsoft 2000 server as operating systems, using ASP to create server script and using IIS 6.0 to build Web sites and develop for background processing. Database manages the film information and ticket information by using SQL Server 2005. In this paper, Pocket PC 2003 SE is used to simulate the experimental result.The mobile theatre-booking system gives full play to the merit of anytime, anywhere, portable, easy operation, convenient and popular. It can be spread to service trade as mobile reservation and mobile restaurant reservation and so on. It can also further accelerate the speed of networking and simplify of these industries.
