Quality of service issues are essential to traditional network technology, because of the particularity and complexity of grid environment, it is necessary to resolve a lot of problems to guarantee a certain quality of service. With the development of the grid, QoS problem becomes a new topic in a new environment and penetrates into all levels and stages of development.gird OoS has become one of the core research areas as the most important and the most attractive areas of research, it is a hot issue in the currently research and development for the computer networks, and has a vital significance in research, application and development for future grid technology.Because of the impact of QoS has a lot of factors, Grid QoS related to each node and element which constitute grid and the network bottom, furthermore, the complex architecture and a large scale, also makes the grid action showing a considerable degree of complexity and difficult to predict. Therefore, in order to realize end-to-end QoS assurance for all users in the grid environment, it requires for a in-depth study of the assured technology about Quality of Service in Grid environment. In this paper, we analyzed the grid QoS assurance problems from different levels and angles , and discussed a series of problems that from bottom to top about how to guarantee the quality of service in grid environment , and to explore from the network layer to the management, to application layer.Based on previous researches, major research works and innovative poinis in this thesis are:Firstly, this article analyzes the current status of Grid research and the existing questiones, summed up the characteristics of grid resources and the development prospects. On this basis, author proposed the necessity and urgency to guarantee grid QoS. By analyzing the characteristics of Grid QoS, we made a systematic analysis and summary.Secondly ,I have made reference to existing results of research, and abstracted the hierarchical model for the QoS. In this basis, we considered the grid resource allocation process and characteristics of Grid, conducted a detailed analysis on resource allocation management which based on QoS and established a general framework model for resource allocation and management which based on QoS,and provided a reasonable implementation reference model for the combination of grid resource allocation and QoS management. Thirdly, because of resource reservation is the most fundamental and effective strategy to ensure grid QoS, in this paper we resourched how to guarantee grid QoS in the application layer through the resource reservation techniques. For the grid is an integrated computing and resource environment, its resources by different users or organizations have focused on in a dynamic, different units of the virtual organization to provide resource sharing and collaborative problem solving skills, etc., a resource reservation strategy based on double-auction has been put forward. Simulation experiments show that this flexible market pricing strategy is suitable for resource reservation grid. Finally, grid task scheduling problem which based on the multi-dimensional QoS constraint is a hot issue and tough question in Grid task scheduling algorithm. This paper used weighting effective function as the goal of QoS optimization, through the improvement of the traditional heuristic scheduling algorithm which fit for the heterogeneous environment such as Min-Min and QoS Guided Min-Min, proposed a MQC-Min-Min algorithm. The simulation results also show that the QoS constraint scheduling algorithm is superior to not consider QoS algorithms. This shows that the grid environment to consider QoS constraints and constraint-based QoS scheduling algorithm is necessary.
