Since 1990s, with the development of the wireless communication, embedded computation, sensor and MEMS (Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems),People have paid mush attention to micro sensor with the capability of sensing, computing and wireless network communication, and WSN (wireless sensor networks) that is made up of such sensors. A channel fading model of wireless sensor networks indoors was researched, and according to the characters of the loss indoors, the simulation system about node deployment in the indoor environment was constructed.The coverage control problem of wireless sensor networks is captured. Some recent novel theories and algorithms are proposed. Several typical algorithms and protocols are discussed. But all the algorithms and protocols are based on the situation that the coverage of the wireless sensor networks is circle, In the node location and deployment of the real project, the wall and the environmental of the project make a serious impact on the channel of the wireless sensor networks, thus the algorithms and protocols are no fit for the real requirement.For the uncertainty of channel fading of wireless sensor networks, a channel fading model based on indoor physical environment is proposed. According to the theoretical approach in wireless channel fading model and the analysis of the experimental data indoors and outdoors coming from the channel fading testing system of the wireless sensor networks, the various parameters of the channel fading model were obtained and the indoor channel fading model of wireless sensor networks was confirmed. A practical experiment shows that this model is better than the rest in the node location and deployment.According to the indoor channel fading model in wireless sensor networks and the platform which was constructed in the environmental of Windows XP+ VMware WorkStation v5.5.1.19175+ Red Hat Linux9.0+ ns-allinone-2.28+ jdk-6-beta2-windows-i586, the simulation system of wireless sensor networks in the indoors environment was confirmed. The indoor channel fading was considerate in the simulation system of wireless sensor networks. The position of the nodes of wireless sensor networks is dynamically adjusted with the simulation system of wireless sensor networks in the indoors environment, the coverage of wireless sensor networks is increased. This model has much reference value in the node location and deployment of wireless sensor networks.
