In this paper, based on the motion controller which has employed the structure of DSP, the dedicated motion control software of computerized single quilting machine is designed and developed. Actual operation of equipment shows that the overall reliability is closely related to software, hardware and equipment characteristics to mechatronics system. So this article studies how to improve the overall reliability of this motion control system.The main works of this paper are summarized as follows:Aimed at the real-time motion control system of computerized quilting machine, it puts forward an applied software design approach of real-time motion control system on the modeling tool of UML. By analyzing use case of computerized single quilting motion control system, it builds static diagram of system, such as use case diagram, realization diagram and status diagram. By analyzing quilting object, it builds dynamic diagram of system. Use activity diagram to describe quilting process. Design and analyze the critical real-time interactivities model by UML real-time extends.Design four-axis position synchronization control model, which based on position synchronization control to realize the X-axis, Y-axis, pin and spindle four-axis synchtonously control in quilting process. Through changing the PWM mode value, it controls motors speed of pin and spindle. At the same time, it controls movement of X-axis and Y-axis by the way of dynamic pulse allocation which realizes uniform step in the quilting process. Speed-up and speed-down curve are used to achieve a smooth speed curve to reduce the mechanical resonance.Based on reliability problems of motion control system in engineering encountered in, it studies anti-interference ability of the system. Discuss software anti-jamming measures of software and hardware as two aspects. Finally, it combines with the emerging issues in the use of single-needle quilting system. The fault tree of single quilting is set up by using FTA. Through qualitative analysis, it puts forward an important basis of increasing system reliability and maintaining system normal operation.Based on what has studied above, it has improved the working speed machine from 2000 r/min to 2800 r/min and the MTBF from 100 hours to 5000 hours of computerized single quilting, which has a substantial increase in efficiency.
