Cardiopathy is one of the most prevalent diseases in endangering people's health, and ECG is an important diagnostic tool for assessing heart function. So it is valuable to design a domestic ECG detecting and analyzing system to monitor patients.This paper introduces the domestic ECG detecting and analyzing system. In order to realize the dynamic display and analysis of ECG, the low-power 32 bit ARM processor LPC2368 is used as the kernel of the system, and uC/OS_II is used as the embedded operating system. The modular method is used in programming, which makes the system has good reusability. Circuits of the designed system consist of two parts, ECG data acquisition circuits and the kernel processor circuits. Their function is to adjust the lower signals to acquire the valuable analog ECG signals, then they are converted to digital signal, which can be stored and sent to the computer by serial ports, we can analyze and process the signals on the computer; In addition, some functions can accomplished on ARM such as the real-time filtering of ECG signal, the detection of QRS by the difference method and the calculation of heart rate. ECG signals and parameters can be dynamically displayed on LCD.The hardware and software are designed in this paper. The tested results show the system has achieved goals such as ECG signal acquisition and storage, ECG displaying, digital filtering and QRS detection etc, which provide the basis for the new ECG signals processing instrument.
