Wireless sensor network localization technology has been greatly concerned with researchers in recently years.After description and analysis of existing wireless sensor network localization algorithm,introduce the mobile agent technology into wireless sensor network localization algorithm which using the advantages of mobile agents to alleviate the cost of wireless sensor network nodes,nodes with limited hardware resources,both data processing capabilities and storage capacity were weaker and so on.Wireless sensor network localization technology can be divided into nodes self-positioning and target localization algorithm.In this paper,study in these two areas respectively.First,this paper node positioning algorithm is based on DV-Hop algorithm.But the DV-Hop algorithm have some problems such as greater flow of information,larger node energy consumption,inaccurate positioning.Therefore,base on the DV-Hop algorithm,this paper use mobile agent technology in which moved mobile agents in the network,collecting beacon node location information,embedding the tasks in mobile agents,reducing the network data traffic and network load.At the same time,this algorithm restrict the unknown node to receive the number of mobile agents and the spread of mobile agent hops in older to reduce the amount of information and storage capacity,make up for the shortcomings of DV-Hop algorithm.Not only that, but Repeat operation algorithm in order to make more precise positioning.This paper use a evaluation value which is composed by accuracy and the remaining energy to evaluate the performance of algorithm.Second,using the virtues of mobile agent in the target localization algorithm,all the sensor nodes that knowing target competed to get the mobile agent in order to track the location of targets.Competition rules are defined by the nodes and the distance between the target and the remaining value of the energy.The nodes which have a lager value of remaining energy and keep less distance with the target node firstly get the mobile agent.To do so,the mobile agent avoid to the nodes which have a smaller value of remaining energy so that the energy of the network used balance.The agent may invite some nearby slave sensors to cooperatively position the object.This will not only extend the life span of the network,but also take into account the accuracy of targeting.Simulation results show that two proposed algorithms which are compared to the existing algorithms in this paper,have the characteristics of high positioning accuracy, consuming smaller energy and extending the network lifetime.
