Design Of Network Management System Based On Digital Video Switching System

With the development of society,people put more and more attention to security systems.Video surveillance transmission system evolves gradually from the traditional analogy,localization into digitization,network-based video transmission switching systems.The traditional model appears to be inadequate in the face of large-scale,multi-level remote networking and many other questions.For these development direction and character of video surveillance technology,we design a digital video switching system for video surveillance,and the network management agent based on SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) to manage surveillance transmission equipment.It manages these equipment distributed at many regions,ensures that video can be control and schedule;a series of inter-provincial surveillance signal such as image,video,audio,alarm and so on can be transmitted.It discovers security incidents and solves problems in the network-based way.This projiect is designed to resolve the problem that current monitoring system can not satisfy the increasingly large and multi-level monitoring network.The design of SNMP network management system is to provide information management of video surveillance and transmission equipment,to ensure monitoring network stable and reliable.Firstly,this paper describes the architecture,functions of digital video switching systems and network management.Secondly,it is about hardware and software systems of the digital video switching network management system.Thirdly, the paper describes hardware design of describes network management tray.Finally, it brings out the design of network management agent based on standard C language according to the requirements of digital video switching system,why to choose the system network management protocol SNMP,and how to set up Linux development platform and cross-compile environment,and design of the private MIB information library for regulated equipment.We develop SNMP network management agent used net-snmp open source code package,design the structure diagram of each process module in network management system,and the program using msg queues,file I/O and serial port for inter-process data communications and data-sharing.In accordance with the type and flow of network management data,the paper brings out the detailed module design and procedure code design.We telnet the board to view debug information,analyze results with PC-application software such as Mib Browser and eGuide network interface software.Test results of system show that,the network management agent designed in the paper can be used to manage the equipment of the digital video switching system,and it has much practical value in the field of video surveillance.
