Multi-sensor image fusion is one of the hotspots subject in automatic target detection and recognition, which is widely applied in a variety of filed such as image understanding, computer vision and remote sensing. This dissertation mainly aims at key technology of image fusion such as image registration, wavelet analysis and image fusion, and the simulation about image fusion was primarily built up based on MATLAB and Visual C + + program. The main contributions are as follows:Firstly, the common image pretreatment method about image enhancement, smoothing, filtering and correction are introduced. Secondly, image registration, which is the key issues on image processing is described. Additionally, the principle about wavelet transform and reconstruction are carried out. Finally, the analysis about coefficients selection rules of wavelet image fusion has been given and integration of results are evaluated.In this dissertation, we carried out a simulation with MATLAB and practice with Visual C++ 6.0 based on the theoretical analysis about image fusion. |
