With the development of the Internet,the application of P2P is more and more popular. While we enjoy the high convenience and speed of the P2P,we also encounter the trouble of P2P which occupy more bandwidth and arise more security problems.And it has seriously influenced the use of Campus Network.So the management of Campus Network has been focused by more and more people,and the identification of P2P has become a worldwide problem.The paper is based on the research of the identification of P2P.The current. development condition and the disadvantage of P2P is introduced in detail.And then it tells the popular technologies,DPI and DPI.In the paper,a newly pattern matching algorithm is suggested and the idea behind algorithm is partition and uses of hash function after analyzing the basic algorithm.The time space of the new algorithm is O(m +n),here m,n denote the length of string and text respectively.'The new linear algorithm is suitable for in-depth packet' detection of firewall.Finally,an identification and controlled framework model is built on these theories and the identification of BT traffic is achieved successfully.
